As quoted by Florian Kaps in the Independant On Sunday on his planned rescue of the abandoned Polaroid instant film format. He and in partnership with Ilford have bought a lease for the factory and equipment to make a new film for this camera format for next year. Polaroid had announced they would not make any more film in February 2008. They intend to release the new films the same date that the old Polaroid stock runs out.
