Belief in the park

"I believe we all have the capacty to think really big thoughts"

Build a park and they will come

Pupils from Blyth Jex school were engaged in a workshop where they had to make a large picture under the theme of "Your Park". Although this was a 2-D exercise it soon went 3-D as seen from with the figure and tree in the picture above.

The mobile phone, the mug and a map

A workshop moment

This is what it's all about

At the end of the workshop pupils of Blyth Jex school hold up one of the maps they had made of Norwich and the Mile Cross area. They were all enthusiastic and fully involved in this process together of mapping their surroundings. These maps were scripts in how they could act out and express themselves through journeys through words, images, sounds and drama. In the next workshop they will see their work in these different artistic forms combined via a short film. Facilitating a process in how they express themselves in their surroundings.
