Save our Seagull

September 9th protest to save the Seagull Theatre, Pakefield at Lowestoft.

A well turned out and peaceful event by local people in support of this cultural instution. The Seagull Theatre has been a positve influence and resource in the Lowestoft area and beyond in the last forty years. It was a school school since 1895. Earlier this year Suffolk County Council stopped funding the £60,000 a year theatre to save money but made this decision whilst spending £144,000 a year on snacks at meetings.

Stop it from being changed into a car park or building land.

The fight goes on.
